This beer pours a dark golden color, cloudy with a nice, long lasting head. It came via crowler – obviously – and it has been in there four roughly 48 hours. Crowler’s are pretty rad, still tasted fresh. On the nose I got a ton of grapefruit – citrus, some stone fruit as well. On the palate the citrus flavor continued – full of flavor, coating the palate, sweet with a touch of bitterness, coating lingering the mouth. There is so much to this beer for 5.8% – I would have guessed it was higher given the amount of flavor Alliance crammed into this one.
Final snobs: Shouldn’t have split this crowler with the Mrs. Excellent IPA. Fun series. Great beer. Be sure to swing by the taproom and try it out soon!
