Saw Works Brewing Company Cask @ Central Flats and Taps! | August 9, 6pm

We’re no stranger to cask ales. If you follow our mumblings at all, we write about them whenever we can. We are also extremely fortunate to have local brewers who like doing casks – such as the incredibly talented and sexy Dave Ohmer of Saw Works Brewing Company. When he’s not lifting weights, saving kittens and repeatedly turning down offers from Old Spice to be the next “Old Spice guy” (Seriously. Stop. TV can’t handle this) he’s brewing beer or thinking about brewing beer. That’s Dave in the picture on the right – you don’t get muscles like that from petting kittens my friends – no sir – you get those from saving kittens…and probably the weights.

Tomorrow night, at Central Flats & Taps – Smoke Out In The Hood, beginning @ 6pm. Here’s what you need to know:

Q: Why is it called “smoke out”?
A: Because Central Flats & Taps are breaking in their new smoker which means BBQ goodness!!!

Q: What’s on cask?
A: Saw Works Pale Ale that has been dry hopped for extra tastiness.

Q: Will Dave be there?
A: Yes, he will be.

Q: Will Dave be signing autographs?
A: Sure, but let’s keep it clean this time – for the kids.

Q: If I happened to have a blank t-shirt, what could Dave do with it?
A: How about this?

Yep, that’s right, onsite t-shirt making bonanza. You provide the shirt, they provide the awesomeness. The ink is white, so use that noggin when picking out a color, mkay? Also be thinking about potential BBQ sauce stains – just saying.

Q: Could Dave and I have matching shirts and get someone to take a picture of us?
A: I guess, but that’s kind of a weird question. Let’s stop with the Q&A before this gets out of hand.

You don’t want to miss out on a great night @ Central Flats & Taps. Hope to see you there!

Cheers!
