Howdy gang, check out the press release info below regarding the Inaugural Curtis Fest. For those of you who don’t know Curtis McArthur was our rep from Sweetwater Brewing Company who knew no strangers. He embodied the spirit of “love what you do” which along with his always positive attitude made a deep impression on our community. This is a great event meant to honor the man and raise some funds for the scholarship fund which will help send students through the South College Professional Brewing Science Program. Prost!

Knoxville’s first-ever CurtisFest will honor the life of Curtis McArthur, celebrate his passion for craft beer, and raise funds for the Curtis McArthur Memorial Fund. Reps from some of Curtis’s favorite breweries will showcase their finest creations. Local chefs and food trucks will compete to win the fish taco cook-off. Our DJ will tickle eardrums with Curtis’s favorite tunes.
So come enjoy disc golf, corn hole, paddle boarding, and kayaking demos. Bring your own favorite brews to share with friends, bring a mighty thirst, and be prepared to get, well, festive.
We promise to send you home with an official CurtisFest tulip glass, CurtisFest koozie, and a big smile.
