Seventeen Knoxville Area Breweries Debut Their Collaboration Organic Beer for Earth Fest
April 10, 2018

This Thursday (April 12, 2018) the Earth Day Every Day Organic Pale Ale is being tapped at twenty different breweries and taprooms around the Knoxville area in support of Earth Fest, East Tennessee’s annual Earth Day celebration that promotes
environmental awareness and opportunities. This launches the first 2018 collaboration brew by Knoxville Brewer’s Association, which exists to promote and develop the greater Knoxville craft beer culture. Seventeen breweries created the beer, and the brew was conducted this year at Elkmont Exchange.

Organic English Malted Barley
Hops:
Organic Hop Hash, “Nugget” variety [boil]
Organic pellets, “Cascade”variety [dry hop]
Tasting notes:
– light malt body, crisp mouth feel
– resinous hop flavor from the Nugget hop hash
– lemon lime candy aroma from the Cascade dry hop
– hazy in appearance because it is unfiltered
– creamy, white head/lacing
