Brewhibition 2016 | Saturday, April 30th

What’s going on beer fans?!  Knoxville has been exploding with new breweries and beers as of late and I hate to say it but there has been more going on than we can keep up with!  For this we apologize and are going to make a joint effort to keep you up to date on all that Knoxville craft beer has to offer from this day forward.  Let me start with the Brewhibition festival that is rolling into town this Saturday.

Grab some tickets and jump back in time to the 1920’s and celebrate the end of prohibition Knoxville style with a different twist on the usual beer festival. Head on over to the Bowery of Knoxville next to Barley’s and you will find six breweries and six distilleries that will pair their tasty beverages to create one of a kind craft beer cocktails.  Each participant will get six tokens to these crazy creations so choose wisely.  But the fun doesn’t stop there.  There will be over 20 different breweries coaxing you to sample the fantastic creations they have labored over for you as well as a 20’s costume contest and did I mention the Mixology Bar?  Oh yeah. You come up with the the crazy concoction of beer and additive and they will make it happen.  Throughout the  day there will be special beer tapping so keep an eye out on twitter. Also, there will be two mobile infuser stations to give your favorite brews that extra kick with fresh ingredients like toasted coconut or pecans. Freaking tasty!!

There is a limited amount of tickets left so head over to their homepage here and you have the choice of a Grand tasting ticket for $45.00 that grants you entry from 2-6pm or you can roll like a baller and get the VIP tickets for $65.00 for five hours of tastings, indoor bathrooms, a Brew Caddy, and entry to the Carleo Entertainment after party venues and night clubs.  I have no idea where these venues are as I have kids and will be in bed at 10pm at the latest. So you’re on your own there.
