Bruisin’ Ales

I have to say that I am proud to live in K-Town but, Asheville is my dream town.  The people, the food, the festivals and lets not forget the beer. I believe there is ten breweries in the town alone with more just a 30 min drive away.  What’s not to love about that?

In 2006 shining star appeared in the horizon and landed at 66 Broadway and is now a must visit from us here at Knoxbeersnobs whenever we are in town.  Owned and operated by Jason and Julie Atallah they maintain somewhere in the area of 900 different beers.  You can also find Thursday beer tastings with a rep from the brewery and they host beer and food pairings at local restaurants from time to time.  Most of the time you find beer markets with beer and no knowledge of the beers they sell, not so here.  I think Jason has had each and every one on the shelf and can steer you in the right direction for whatever you are interested in.
