It would just be flat out rude to have a Knoxville beer blog and NOT mention The Bearden Beer Market right off the cuff. Let me just come right out and say it – this place rocks. If you’ve never been there stop reading right now and GO, then come back and thank me.
The Bearden Beer Market prides itself on bringing good beer to the Knoxville area and being right in the heart of Bearden allows it to do just that. You can find it right where Old Kingston Pike meets Kingston Pike (right next to where Lyons View hits Kingston Pike) nestled in a great little space that was previously a flower shop. Now, the store itself isn’t huge but they pack a great selection. They also have plenty of kegs-to-go and are eager to assist in finding that keg of beer that they may not necessarily carry. You can also get a pint off of several taps to enjoy in the open beer garden. BBM also brings in brewers from around the southeast from time-to-time and is known to frequently have fun stuff going on during the weekend. At one point I heard they had a taco truck (I’m talking a REAL grease truck) park out front for an evening – alas I missed this.
