Big, Bold and Festive Beer Dinner @ Sunspot | Dec. 3rd 7pm

Howdy fellow snobs,

If your Thanksgiving was anything like mine, you just came off of not one day of excessive gluttony, but several. If you took a blood sample right now, it’d show my turkey levels are elevated and my large intestine has been replaced by sweet potatoes. While I pride myself on my beer snobbery, food and I get along pretty darn well if I do say so myself.

Speaking of food, Sunspot will be holding their FINAL beer dinner in their current location on Monday, December 3rd. This dinner is a bit bitter sweet as they’ll be moving out of the home they have inhabited for a very long time. I think we’ve all come to know and love this spot with it’s eclectic motif, however, we can all agree it might be time for an upgrade. For instance, if you’ve paid any attention to the kitchen, I’ve seen larger one’s on RVs. The fact that they have cranked so much magic out of there for so long is a testament to the talents of the chef and crew. Not to fear, they are only moving down the street and I think you’ll dig the new spot. This dinner though will be the last hurrah in the old spot and being the Christmas season, they are pulling all the stops. Check out this menu – there are some SERIOUS pairings on here – note the cask condition Yazoo Sue with Olive Sinclair Chocolate – great chocolate nibs Batman!

Reservations are needed so give them a shout at 865-637-GOOD(4663). $50 bucks gets you all this tastiness and as usual a great time comes at no additional charge.

Cheers!
