Albright Grove Brewing Company Celebrates Grand Opening On Sutherland Avenue

New Brewery and Tasting Room Opens in the Marble City

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — Craft beer lovers have another reason to cheer with a new brewery and tasting room opening next week in Knoxville. Albright Grove Brewing Company, located in the old Wildwood Gallery building next to River Sports Outfitters on Sutherland Avenue, will celebrate its grand opening on August 22, 2019.

Albright Grove Brewing, named for a trail in the Great Smoky Mountains, is a 10-barrel brewhouse built to serve the taproom with a wide selection of rotating styles of beer. On tap for the grand opening is a New England Style IPA, Belgian Wit, Farmhouse Saison and India Pale Lager— each closely tied to Knoxville and the surrounding areas.

“From seasonal peaches and strawberries, to malted barley, wheat and rye, all of our products will be brewed with locally-sourced ingredients,” said Nick Barron, Owner and Brewmaster of Albright Grove Brewing Company. “It is important to me that we support and help promote other East Tennessee small businesses and farmers in everything that we do.”

With a degree from The Institute of Brewing and Distilling in London, UK, and experience in breweries across the United States and abroad, Barron’s brews are as diverse as his background. His craft has earned him a number of awards at established competitions like Great American Beer Festival, World Beer Cup, Festival of Barrel Aged Beer, Chicago Beer Society and other craft beer tournaments.

Albright Grove Brewing will pour its first beer this Thursday at 4 p.m., and all craft beer enthusiasts are invited for an award-winning drink at Knoxville’s newest brewery. More information on the Smokies-inspired brewery can be found at https://www.albrightgrovebrewing.com.
