Woodruff Cask Experiment #3 – October 4th, 6-9pm
Howdy fellow snobs!
For those of you who may not be aware our good friends at Woodruff Brewing Company have been experimenting as of late with some cask creations. The first was a dry hopped IPA that was very tasty which was followed up by Woodruff’s Kolch (Downtown Blonde) that was spiced up with some jalapenos and peppers and aptly named “Hot Blonde.”
For the 3rd experiment, Dave from Woodruff has taken some White Mule Pale Ale and dry hopped it with cascade hops from his OWN garden! Those that have had the White Mule known that it’s a top notch pale ale as it is, so I’m excited to try a dry hopped casked version.
The tapping of the cask will take place at Downtown Grill & Brewery on Tuesday, October 4th from 6pm-9pm. If you haven’t made it to one of these, get this one on the calendar – make an evening of it, bring your spouse or girlfriend/boyfriend (but not both), friends, coworkers, attorney, tax accountant, pastor, doctor….really, the options are endless.
Hope to see you there. Cheers!
